Alfonso García-Mingo

Alfonso García-Mingo specializes in Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate and Commercial Law. He actively represents numerous enterprises including national and foreign private equity companies. His practice focuses on acquisitions, disposals, reorganizations, secured financing, joint ventures and distribution arrangements, which often comprise multiple jurisdictions. He has extensive knowledge in mining, fiscal, foreign, labor investment, as well as legal and business issues related to investors, domestic and foreign.  He teaches Shareholders Minority Right and Mergers and Acquisitions at the Masters in Enterprise Law at the Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City and Guadalajara.

Alfonso was responsible for preparing the Mexican Chapter for Corporate Law Project under the leadership of John G. Ruggie as Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations Commission on Business and Human Rights.
