In the area of labor law we have more than 20 years of experience successfully advising multinational clients. Our experts have advised clients in their most complex matters and with multi-jurisdictional components.  Our experience is comprehensive since we handle all types of related matters including labor advice resulting from mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, investments (joint-ventures) and divestments, among others.

The labor area always collaborates with our Mergers and Acquisitions teams in preparing legal audits in labor and social security law, in order to identify possible risks and contingencies in executing our clients’ transactions.

Our services also include consulting and management of individual and collective lawsuits. We handle collective and individual as well as social security matters. In collective matters we represent our clients in the planning of strategy and the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements with local and national unions. At the individual level we handle the hiring and dismissal of employees, compensation plans and benefit plans in general. We also advise on the hiring and dismissal of high-level expats.

We do labor audits and we develop programs to ensure that our clients comply with the Mexican standards and regulations.  We also advise our clients in the design and implementation of internal work rules, employee training manuals and labor regulations in health and safety matters and policies.
